Research Profile
Hungerman’s work focuses on public economics, paying particular attention to the determinants of philanthropic activity and the interaction between church and state. His work has been published in a number of journals including the Journal of Public Economics and the Quarterly Journal of Economics. His work has been covered by The New York Times, The Washington Post, Reader's Digest, Christianity Today, The Christian Science Monitor, CNN, and National Public Radio. Hungerman is also the recipient of numerous grants and fellowships.
