Research Profile

Dr. Glowacki has been doing archaeological research in the U.S. Southwest since 1992

and has conducted fieldwork at 63 of the largest sites in the Northern San Juan region. Her research

focuses on social changes leading to regional depopulation and migration, pottery production and

exchange, and the formation of aggregated villages. Her publications include an edited volume,

several book chapters, and articles in American Antiquity, Kiva, and the Journal of Radioanalytical

and Nuclear Chemistry.
