Research Profile

Moss specializes in the interpretation of the New Testament and the history of early Christianity. Her dissertation examined the presentation of early Christian martyrs as Christ figures and the importance of this theme for the history of ideas. Her interests include the history of Christian martyrdom, Greek and Roman religions, the construction of health and disease in the New Testament, and the reception history of the Gospels.
