Research Profile

Saadi edited and translated the encyclopedic work of Moshe Bar Kepha (9th century bishop and scholar) and continues to research Kepha's other writings. Saadi has also been involved in search of the world of both Syriac and Arabic manuscripts. As an expert in this field, he assists the Lutheran School of Theology as Visiting Professor; the University of Chicago/Oriental Institute as a Research Professor; and the Hill Monastic Manuscript Library at St. John University as Liaison and cataloguer of the Syriac Manuscripts.
