Research Profile

Power is an assistant professional specialist and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Sociology. Her research and publications focus on the sociology of education. Her interests include poverty and social stratification in schools and moral education. Power directs the Sociology Internship Program and runs the Department’s proseminar each semester. She is also involved in research and school program development in Notre Dame’s Center for Ethical Education.
