Research Profile
Conrado is a product design research, planning and development consultant for a variety of industries with clients including Motorola, McDonalds and Panasonic. Her design work has been honored with Business Week’s IDEA Gold and Bronze Awards, MDEA Gold Awards, Good Design Awards, featured in Business Week, Popular Science and Wired and is in the permanent collection of the MIAD Museum. She is also founder and executive director of HOPE Initiative, a non-profit organization using design principles towards the alleviation of poverty in developing countries. Her scholarship examines the power and promise of design to address a host of social, global and humanitarian issues. This past summer, she traveled with a group of Notre Dame undergraduate students to Nepal to work side by side with disadvantaged local artisans to collaboratively design, develop and produce fair trade handicrafts.Contact Information
