Cunningham to Give Commencement Address at Saint Anselm's College

Lawrence S. Cunningham, the John A. O’Brien Professor of Theology, will give the commencement address at Saint Anselm’s College in New Hampshire on May 16. The College will present Cunningham with an honorary doctorate during the ceremony.

The author of more than 50 articles in peer reviewed or solicited journals and books, Cunningham’s most recent book is An Introduction to Catholicism(Cambridge University Press, 2009). He has also served as the religion book notes columnist for Commonweal for more than 10 years and is the winner of three Catholic Press Association awards for religious writing.

Founded in 1889 by the Benedictines, Saint Anselm’s College was named one of the country’s “Colleges with a Conscience” by The Princeton Review.
