This is the North American premiere of Tarik O’Regan’s Acallam na Senórach commissioned by the University of Notre Dame: a substantial work for chamber choir, guitar, and percussion based on one of the most important ancient Irish texts to survive the Middle Ages. A performance by the National Chamber Choir of Ireland will follow the symposium in the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center’s Leighton Concert Hall.
