College Seminar
The College Seminar is a one-semester course required of all sophomores majoring in the College of Arts and Letters. It provides an introduction to the diversity and distinctive focus of Arts and Letters at the University of Notre Dame.

The University Writing Program aims to aid students in the development of writing skills by overseeing the First Year Composition Course, a Graduate Fellowship program, and the University Writing Center.
