The Department of Economics and Econometrics jointly administers the undergraduate program in economics with the Department of Economics and Policy Studies. Together, the departments provide their students with grounding in rigorous theoretical and quantitative analysis while expanding the boundaries of economics to examine the interaction between economic, political, and social phenomena.
Economics majors pursue career-and often advanced degrees-in the financial world, law, public service, and economics.
