The minor in Catholic Social Tradition serves as a resource for Notre Dame undergraduates to learn Catholicism's social tradition. The program draws upon a variety of sources, including the Bible, the encyclicals of Leo XXXIII, Paul VI, and John Paul II. Students study a range of issues from the life of the family to the state of the church.
