Description:
The Literature program is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on the study of literature from a transnational and intercultural perspective. Students use resources from a number of departments and programs including Classics, East Asian Languages and Literatures, Romance Languages and Literatures, German, Irish Language and Literature, Philosophy, and Theology. The Ph.D. in Literature enables doctoral students to study literature both within traditional disciplines and across disciplinary and national boundaries.
