Description:

Psychology is the scientific study of human behavior, and its central purpose is to understand the biological and environmental influences on that behavior. Psychologists examine the manner in which physiological, sensory, perceptual, cognitive, learning, memory, developmental, social, and personality processes affect humans.

The Department of Psychology seeks to prepare its students for their eventual ascension to prominence in the field, although recent graduates have gone on to careers in advertising, education, copywriting, finance, law, medicine, information technology, teaching, and veterinary medicine.
