Description:

The Department of Economics and Policy Studies jointly administers the undergraduate program in economics with the Department of Economics and Econometrics. Together, the departments provide their students with grounding in rigorous theoretical and quantitative analysis while expanding the boundaries of economics to examine the interaction between economic, political, and social phenomena.

Economics majors pursue careers - and often advanced degrees - in the financial world, law, public service, and economics.
