Saturdays With the Saints—Joan of Arc at the University: God, Country, and Notre Dame

-

Location: Geddes Hall, Andrews Auditorium

Sister Ann Astell, professor of theology, University of Notre Dame

On the 600th anniversary of her birth, we honor St. Joan of Arc, the Maid of Orléans.

Now you can spend one hour with the saints before the home games on selected weekends this fall. Come nourish your mind and your Catholic faith with talks by distinguished members of the Notre Dame faculty.

In September, we will remember Archbishop Oscar Romero of San Salvador and St. Hildegard of Bingen, who will be declared the 35th Doctor of the Church this fall. In October, we’ll celebrate the angels and Joan of Arc. In November, we’ll explore Benedict XVI and the saints, as well as the two newest American saints canonized in October 2012.
