University Requirements
The University of Notre Dame requires that all of its students complete the following requirements. In some cases, placement exam credit may be used to fulfill University requirements.
Please note that every college, including the College of Arts and Letters, requires courses beyond those required by the University.

University Seminars may also fulfill the history, social science, theology, philosophy, or literature requirement.
