Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Studies

Vicki Douillet Toumayan

Vicki Douillet Toumayan was appointed Visiting Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Studies in 2005. She recieved her bachelors degree from Smith College and her doctorate from Yale University. Before joining the faculty of the Department of Romance Languages and Literature, Toumayan taught at Smith College and Princeton University.

Administrative Responsibilities

Assistant Dean Toumayan provides general advising to Arts and Letters sophomores, juniors, and seniors. She also advises students who are interested in pursuing a career in education, especially those enrolled in the Saint Mary’s College elementary and secondary certification program. She is the faculty advisor for the College of Arts and Letters Gazette, a biannual newsletter for undergraduates, and the Journal of Undergraduate Research, a yearly publication of articles written by students in the College.
