Jennifer Nemecek
Jennifer Nemecek serves as one of the Assistant Deans for Undergraduate Studies. She received her undergraduate degree from Gettysburg College, attended the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England, and received her master's degree from Georgetown University. Assistant Dean Nemecek also directs the Arts and Letters Preprofessional Studies Program
Administrative Responsibilities
Arts and Letters Preprofessional Studies
The ALPP curriculum prepares students who intend to pursue a career in the health professions. Students complete a major in the College of Arts and Letters while building a firm foundation in the basic sciences in order to be able to take the Medical or Dental School Admissions Test. Additional coursework may be necessary to prepare for Veterinary Medicine, Optometry or graduate programs in Physical Therapy.

Undergraduate Advising
Assistant Dean Nemecek also advises students who want to participate in non-Notre Dame study abroad programs. Additionally, the assistant dean is a resource for general academic questions and graduation issues surrounding sophomores, junior and seniors.
