FTT Talks presents... Mike Cerre

April 19, 2008 ( 07:00PM - 11:55PM )

  • Sponsor(s): Department of Film, Television, and Theatre
  • Location: Browning Cinema, DeBartolo Performing Arts Center

Mike Cerre, ND 1969, is co-founder and executive producer for Globe-TV.  His film, CSN&Y "Deja Vu", co-written with Neil Young, looks back at politics and anti-VIetnam War sentiment in the music of Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young.  As both a portrait of a band and an examination of artistic process, CSN&Y "Deja Vu" is filmmaking that is self-centered, yet fresh and critical.  It was screened at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.

There are screenings at 7:00 and 10:00 p.m., with a panel discussion afterwards.  The screening is free, but ticketed.

Tickets can be obtained at the DPAC Ticket Office by calling (574) 631-2800.
