Professor Michael A. Olivas, William B. Bates Distinguished Chair in Law and Director of the Institute for Higher Education Law and Governance, University of Houston Law Center.
Professor Olivas will discuss the litigation history of Hernandez v. Texas, the 1954 U.S. Supreme Court case that was decided within 10 days of the Brown v. Board of Education decision; they are side by side in the 1954 Supreme Court Reporter.
