Jefferson Miller's 1979 documentary film explores Jamaicans' historical consciousness of their 17th and 18th Century maroon ancestors, the first black guerillas who successfully resisted colonialism and slavery.
Guest speaker: Mark Hauser, visiting assistant professor of anthropology.
